Every UBTTA instructor possesses a master’s degree or higher level in biblical and theological studies.

Students who successfully complete six Core Curriculum courses, Bible Study Methods, Principles of Teaching, Introduction to Old Testament, Introduction to New Testament, Introduction to Theology, and Introduction to Evangelism; and one of the three Concentration Tracks: Introduction to Preaching, Introduction to Christian Education, and Evangelism will earn a certificate.

Become a better student

Every student is held to an honor code and is expected to  to conduct him or herself to the highest degree of integrity.

Students must attend class, complete all assignments, and exams,  and have a passing grade of 70 percent. Students are required to pay class registration fee and purchase their own books. Each enrolled student will receive a syllabus, outlines, and other educational and instructional materials for each class.

Become better, period!

When you know better, you do better. When you do better, people around you benefit as well.

That’s the purpose behind the vision of UBTTA: It is the vision of the Academy  for men and women to become mature in their faith and effectiveness in ministry through the practice of what they have learned in their biblical and theological training.

The UBTTA Way …

Union Baptist Theological Training Academy seeks to offer a quality education at an affordable price to every person desiring to advance their knowledge in biblical studies. It is our desire for students to understand Scriptures intellectually, but to also develop a deeper intimate walk with God in every area of their life. Our program will give students the skills necessary to be effective teachers, preachers, leaders, and laity in the Word.
